Edvancement Foundation Educational Scholarships

Established in 2021, the Edvancement Foundation Educational Scholarship is for full-time students attending high school in the US who demonstrate potential and motivation in STEM related fields. This scholarship recognizes academic achievement as demonstrated by personal statements, academic transcripts and teacher recommendations.

Eligibility: Full time students attending high school in the US, Grades 9-12. Preference will be given to high school students with demonstrated financial need.

Application Timeline: We take rolling submissions throughout the year, limited by funding availability

Application Materials:

1. Personal essay highlighting their particular interest in STEM and how recipient will use scholarship funds to advance their education
2. A most recent academic transcript
3. Recommendation from a STEM subject teacher
4. First 2 pages of a parent or guardian's recent Form 1040 income tax return

Submission: Please email the completed Application Form along with required Application Materials to apply@edvancementfoundation.org

Upon submitting the application, you will receive a confirmation email, and an in-person or online interview might be requested. Afterwards, selection committee members will review and make a decision within 3 months of applying. If a scholarship has been granted, the committee will reach out to the recipient to coordinate next steps. Further follow-up materials from the recipient may also be requested, including - a sworn statement of how funds were used, photos and quotes for testimonials, and a survey for recipients to complete later on.
